The accused pleaded guilty to two specifications alleging housebreaking and two specifications charging larcenies, all in violation of the Uniform Code of Military Justice. While the maximum sentence for these combined offenses was some fifteen years and six months, with accessories, because this was a special court-martial proceeding the accused received a sentence of a bad-conduct discharge, confinement for six months, and partial forfeitures for that period.
