Does the Abandoned and Captured Property- Act, as extended by the act of July 2, 1864 (13 Stat. 375); authorize a recovery in the Court of Claims for the proceeds of property captured and sold by the military authorities, without judicial condemnation, after July 17, 1862, and before March 12, 1863, but accounted for and credited by the Secretary of the Treasury to the abandoned and captured property fund, in the treasury ?

2. Does it appear that the proceeds sued for in this case were actually paid into the treasury…
