POPOVICH, Chief Justice.
We granted defendant’s petition for review in this case for the limited purpose of reducing the duration of his sentence.
Defendant was convicted of aggravated criminal damage to property, Minn.Stat. § 609.595, subd. 1(3) (1988) (intentionally damaging physical property of another without consent when the damages reduce the value of the property by more than $500). The presumptive sentence for the offense, when committed by one with defendant’s criminal history score of three, is a stayed sentence of 15 months in prison.
