This action was brought to recover possession of a certain engine and boiler described in the complaint as “one 9,,xl0,/ Double Engine Single Drum Logging Hoist Engine and Boiler complete.” It is alleged that on the 2d day of June, 1898, plaintiffs were, and now are, the owners and lawfully entitled to the immediate possession of said engine and boiler, and that the same are wrongfully in the possession of the defendants in Clallam county, state of Washington; that on the 2d day of June, 1898, the plaintiffs demanded of defendants possession…
