This action is the sequel to a collision between two automobile trucks. Plaintiffs, American Products Co. and Frank Thompson, the owner and the driver, respectively, of one of the trucks, instituted the action jointly to recover damages for the impairment of that truck and for the injuries sustained by its driver. Defendant Emil Villwock, owner of the other truck, acting both in his individual capacity and as guardian ad litem for his minor son, defendant Charles Villwock, filed a cross-complaint, seeking to recover damages for the demolition of that truck and for the injuries sustained by…
