This action was brought by plaintiff to recover the “accidental death” benefits provided for in a policy of insurance issued by defendant to plaintiffs mother, Hattie Jackson, the insured, who died August 13, 1935. These benefits were payable in the event “of the death of the insured, resulting directly and independently of all other causes through external, violent and accidental means, provided death of the insured occurs within ninety (90) days from date of accident, provided the company shall not be liable for the payment of any sum whatsoever......if such injury…
