OPINION
HOLLIS HORTON, Justice.
Department of Public Safety (DPS) Trooper Angela Fountain stopped Justin Amador for speeding. After an investigation, Trooper Fountain arrested Amador for driving while intoxicated (DWI). Ama-dor asked the trial court to suppress evidence that he asserts Trooper Fountain gained without sufficient probable cause to believe he was engaged in criminal activity. The trial court denied Amador’s motion to suppress.
After the trial court refused to suppress the evidence, Amador pled guilty to a misdemeanor DWI charge pursuant to a plea agreement. See Tex. Pen.Code Ann. §…
