Defendant appeals his conviction for contempt. We remand for further proceedings.

On July 11, 1989, plaintiff Lorri Rae Pyle obtained an order against defendant, her spouse, restraining him from interfering with or molesting her in any manner. On July 18, 1989, the state moved for an order for defendant to show cause why he should not be held in contempt for violating the restraining order. The supporting affidavit stated that defendant had telephoned repeatedly and had blocked plaintiffs car on two occasions. Defendant denied the allegations, and a hearing was set for July 31,1989.
