Contrary to his plea, Appellant was convicted at a general court-martial with members of attempted premeditated murder in violation of Article 80, Uniform Code of Military Justice (UCMJ), 10 U.S.C. § 880 (2006). The adjudged and approved sentence included confinement for nine years, a dishonorable discharge and reduction to pay grade E-l. 1 The United States Navy-Marine Corps Court of Criminal Appeals (CCA) affirmed.
