Appellant, Kevin B. Higgs, brings this delayed appeal from a judgment of the Trumbull County Court of Common Pleas finding him guilty upon acceptance of his guilty plea to a charge of robbery, R.C. 2911.02, with a firearm specification, R.C. 2941.141.

Appellant was indicted on August 6, 1993, on a charge of aggravated robbery, R.C. 2911.01(A)(1), with a firearm specification, R.C. 2941.141. On November 17, 1993, appellant pleaded guilty to robbery, R.C. 2911.02, -with a firearm specification. The trial court then sentenced appellant to the Lorain Correctional Institution…
