The State of Missouri (“State”) appeals from the judgment granting Edward L. Vinson’s (“Defendant”) motion to dismiss. The State contends the trial court erred in granting Defendant’s motion to dismiss pursuant to the “anti-shuttling” provision of the Interstate Agreement on Detainers (“IAD”), Section 217.490, RSMo 2000, 1 because Defendant waived his protections under the provision. We reverse and remand for further proceedings consistent with this opinion.
