Danny Woods (Defendant) was charged by information with two counts of tampering in the first degree. See § 569.080. 1 The trial court entered an order dismissing the information with prejudice based upon the State’s alleged failure to bring Defendant to trial within the 180-day time limit specified in the Interstate Agreement on Detainers (IAD). See § 217.490. The State has appealed the dismissal. This Court reverses and remands the case for further proceedings.
