This action was brought to recover for personal injuries and property damage alleged to have been sustained by the plaintiff by reason of the emission of poisonous gases and offensive odors from the smokestacks of the defendant’s paper and pulp mill at Camas. Admitting the operation of the mill, the defendant denied that plaintiff, suffered any damage as a result of the emission of gases and odors from the mill.
