The record discloses that, in the early part of July, 1900, the appellants, who were real estate dealers, in the city of Ballard, approached the respondent John Lawson and proffered to sell to him four certain lots, then owned by the appellant Lee, known and described as lots 26, 27, 28, and 29, in Block 9, in Ballard Park Addition to the city of Ballard.
