Defendant appeals a judgment of conviction for possession of a controlled substance. Former ORS 475.992(4) (2003). He assigns error to the trial court’s failure to obtain a written waiver of his right to a jury trial, the court’s denial of his motion to suppress, and the court’s admission of a crime laboratory report without requiring the state to produce the criminalist who prepared the report.
