GIERKE, Judge:

A general court-martial composed of officer and enlisted members at Fort George G. *38Meade, Maryland, convicted appellant, contrary to Ms pleas, of rape, in violation of Article 120, Uniform Code of Military Justice, 10 USC § 920. Appellant pleaded guilty by exceptions to a charge of false swearing, in violation of Article 134, UCMJ, 10 USC § 934, but he was convicted of that offense as charged. The adjudged and approved sentence provides for a dishonorable discharge, confinement for 10 years, total forfeitures, and reduction to the lowest enlisted grade. The…
