This action was instituted in the district court of Carter county by M. Gorman and J. E. McCarty, as plaintiffs, against John Oarlock and John R. Dexter, defendants. The plaintiffs’ petition alleged that a partnership existed between the plaintiffs and the defendants with reference to oil and gas leases in what is known as the Healdton oil field: that a certain lease, known as the William Tillis lease, was taken in the name of John H. Carlock, one of the defendants, but was a part of the partnership property and prayed that the defendants be adjudged to hold said lease in trust for the…
