An information was filed in the county court of McCook county by the state’s attorney, charging the plaintiff in error with a violation of the provisions of Chapter 54 of the Laws of the legislature of the State of South Dakota of 1890. A trial was had at the July, 1890, term of that court, before a jury, and a verdict of guilty rendered. A fine of $250 and costs was imposed by the court. To that judgment this writ of error is taken.
