This is an appeal by the plaintiffs and cross-defendants J. Crouch and Gr. R. Crouch, copartners, doing business under the firm name and style of J. Crouch & Son, from a judgment in favor of the defendants and cross-complainants, John T. Wilson, J. O. Jennifer, F. L. Troxel, B. F. Ermel, and P. L. Lopez, in an action to recover upon certain promissory notes executed and delivered by the said defendants, in which action they filed a cross-complaint alleging that the notes had been given for the price of a stallion purchased from the plaintiffs and that said sale had been procured by fraudulent…
