SULLIVAN, Chief Judge:

1. Appellant was tried by a general court-martial composed of members at Langley Air Force Base, Virginia, on August 19-22, 1991. Contrary to his pleas, he was found guilty of rape and wrongful purchase of alcohol for a minor, in violation of Articles 120 and 134, Uniform Code of Military Justice, 10 USC §§ 920 and 934, respectively. The members of his court-martial sentenced appellant to a dishonorable discharge, hard labor without confinement for 3 months, and reduction to E-l.
