Sevkija Vrgora was the general contractor on a job for the Los Angeles City Unified School District. American Bonding Company issued his labor and material bond. They are the appellants here. “220 Electric,” not a party to this appeal, was an electrical subcontractor for Vrgora. It purchased some materials from Fidelity Sound Systems, Inc. (Fidelity), the respondent. Vrgora paid 220 Electric for the materials but the latter did not pay Fidelity.
