Appellant was a limited tenure police patrolman appointed under the provisions of section 145.1 of the charter of the city and county of San Fran cisco. He applied to the Retirement Board of San Francisco for a pension on the ground of disability alleged to have resulted from an injury incurred in the performance of duty. His application was denied. Thereafter an application was made for a rehearing which was also denied.
