GIERKE, Judge:
A general court-martial composed of officer members at Griffiss Air Force Base, New York, convicted appellant, contrary to his pleas, of wrongfully using cocaine, in violation of Article 112a, Uniform Code of Military Justice, 10 USC § 912a. The members acquitted appellant of a second specification of wrongfully using cocaine and one specification of wrongfully possessing cocaine. The approved sentence provides for a bad-conduct discharge, confinement and partial forfeitures of pay for 12 months, and reduction to the lowest enlisted grade. The Court of…
