While a gym membership typically improves one’s physical well-being at a slight cost to one’s fiscal health, the case at hand concerns a fitness endeavor that had a far greater impact on the wallet than the waistline. This suit alleges that fitness companies and two banks conspired to defraud gym member Valerie McMullen by opening unauthorized lines of credit in her name and processing unauthorized charges against that credit.
