Plaintiffs-appellees (the Apos) brought an action to quiet title to four parcels of land (R. P. Grant 3079, R. P. Grant 1568, L. C. Aw. 8245:B and L. C. Aw. 11004), alleging ownership both by deed and adverse possession. Defendant-appellant Dillingham Investment Corporation (Dillingham) claimed ownership of the same parcels, also by both deed and adverse possession. Other defendants who made similar claims have not appealed and are not before us. The remaining defendants-appellants (the Kawaauhaus) are adjoining landowners who disputed the claimed boundary of…
