The principal issue raised by this appeal is whether a certain contract between the plaintiff, Rizzo Pool Company, and the defendants, Daniel Del Grosso and Jo-Ann Del Grosso, for the installation of a swimming pool on the defendants’ property is subject to the provisions of the Home Improvement Act (HIA).1 The plaintiff commenced this action for breach of contract when the defendants refused to allow the plaintiff to install the pool pursuant to the contract.
