Na’imah Ferdinand-Davenport (“Davenport”) brought this employment discrimination action against her former employer, The Children’s Guild (“TCG”). Davenport alleges pregnancy discrimination in violation of the Pregnancy Discrimination Act, 42 U.S.C. § 2000e(k), codified as part of Title VII of the Civil Rights Act of 1964 (“Title VII”), 42 U.S.C. § 2000e et seq.; Title 20 of the Maryland State Government Article; 1 and Article 4 of the Baltimore City Code.
