August 3, 1932, Homer Wilson, defendant, and respondent here, entered into a contract with Nelson Story, Jr., by which Story agreed to furnish a dredge and work or dredge certain lands owned by the defendant and described in the lease, hereinafter referred to, and located in Madison county, for gold.
