On October 2, 1931, the district attorney of Stanislaus County filed an information in the superior court of that county against the defendant, in four counts. Count one charged the defendant with the crime of robbery committed in the county of Stanislaus on or about the twenty-fifth day of August, 1931. Counts two and three charged the defendant with the crime of burglary committed at different times in the county of Stanislaus.
