This appeal arises from an action brought by the plaintiff, Vincent P. Larobina, against the defendant, Home Depot, USA, Inc., alleging breach of contract and violation of the Connecticut Unfair Trade Practices Act (CUTPA), General Statutes § 42-*588110a et seq.1 The plaintiff appeals from the judgment of the trial court accepting, in part, and rejecting, in part, the report of an attorney trial referee (referee).
