Eaton, Judge: Plaintiff Karen Novick brings this action under the Employment Retirement Income Security Act of 1974 (“ERISA”). 29 U.S.C. § 1001 et seq. (2006). By her complaint, Ms. Novick alleges that defendant Metropolitan Life Insurance Co. (“MetLife”), Ms. Novick’s employer and ERISA plan administrator, wrongfully terminated her short-term disability (“STD”) benefits and wrongfully denied her long-term disability (“LTD”) benefits under the terms of the MetLife Options & Choices Plan No. 512 (the “Plan”).
