Claimant seeks review of a Workers’ Compensation Board order that reversed a referee’s order setting aside SAIF’s denial of medical treatment after a compensable injury. On de novo review, we reverse. ORS 656.298.

Claimant suffered a compensable low back injury on August 27, 1981, while working as a housekeeper for Good Samaritan Hospital. She reported the injury the same day, in the employer’s emergency room, to Dr. Gulick, who diagnosed a low back strain.
