A resolution, declaring the necessity for the improvement of certain streets of defendant city by paving with asphalt and by the construction of the curbing necessary to accompany such paving, was duly introduced into the council, and, after due publication of notice thereof and the consideration of objections made by these plaintiffs and other property owners and taxpayers, was passed by the council, and a resolution ordering the making of such im*491proVements was adopted.
