GEORGE W. Latimer, Judge:
Charged with the premeditated murder of Felicitas Georg by stabbing her with a knife at Wiesbaden, Germany, on October 20, 1957 — a violation of Article 118(1), Uniform Code of Military Justice, 10 USC § 918 — accused was brought to trial before a general court-martial at Eglin Air Force Base, Florida. The convening authority, in referring the charge for trial, directed that the case be treated as not capital, and accused, who was represented not only by appointed military defense counsel but in addition by two civilian attorneys, pleaded guilty.…
