Eugenie A. Duffill, a resident of the county of Los Angeles, this state, died on January 7, 1916, leaving a last will and-testament which was duly admitted to probate by an order of the superior court of said county. By the terms of this will the testatrix, after making a number of specific bequests, bequeathed and devised the residue and remainder of her estate, real and personal, to the Los Angeles Trust and Savings Bank, one of the respondents, in trust for certain enumerated purposes.
