WATHEN, Chief Justice.
Defendants Dana Craney and Willard Eastman appeal from judgments entered in the Superior Court (Androscoggin County, Alexander, J.) following jury verdicts finding them guilty of intentional and knowing murder, 17-A M.R.S.A. § 201(1)(A) (1983), and robbery, 17-A § 651(D), (E) (1983). Defendants argue that the court erred by admitting Craney’s redacted confession and that prosecutorial misconduct during closing argument deprived them of a fair trial.
