The widow of J. A. Cronin, on her own behalf and for minor children, claimed compensation from the American Oil Company as a result of her husband’s death, and an award was made by the referee, subsequently approved by the compensation board and the court of common pleas, on appeal. It is claimed by defendant that the injury suffered was not in the course of employment, and, further, that no adequate proof was shown of a causal connection between the employment and the death.
