LAVERY, J.

The pro se plaintiff, Brian Moore, appeals from the summary judgment of the trial court, rendered in favor of the defendant Leonard M. Crone. The plaintiffs two count amended complaint alleged that the defendant was negligent in his legal representation of the plaintiff for purposes of his direct appeal from a criminal conviction and that the defendant breached his contract with the plaintiff. On appeal, the plaintiff claims that an expert is not required for him to prevail on his claims and that the court should have considered his case on the merits. We affirm the judgment…
