This is a slip and fall case which raises issues under the law of premises liability.

We are required to decide whether the plaintiff was entitled to the requested instruction on com*473parative negligence; whether the Funk1 doctrine should be expanded to cover the facts of this case; and whether the Court of Appeals erred in finding that the trial court should have granted the defendant’s motion for a directed verdict.
