The principal issue of this appeal is whether a fourteen year old juvenile who has been arrested for murder, and whose case therefore must be transferred from the juvenile docket to the regular criminal docket pursuant to General Statutes (Rev. to 1987) § 46b-127 (1),1 may validly waive his Miranda2 *716rights without a specific warning of the possibility of such a transfer.
