FOTI, J.

The defendant has filed a motion to dismiss the plaintiffs cross appeal, arguing that it is untimely and that the plaintiff is not aggrieved within the meaning of Practice Book §§ 4000 and 4005.1 We agree that the cross appeal is untimely and therefore dismiss it. Furthermore, because the plaintiff has improperly attempted to include a request for permission to file a late cross appeal in its opposition to the defendant’s motion to dismiss, we decline to consider the plaintiffs request for permission to file a late cross appeal.
