This action was originally instituted before a justice of the peace in Logan county by the appellee, Alice Kilgore, to recover of the appellants for work and labor performed as cook and servant in a hotel. Trial was had before the justice and judgment rendered in favor of the plaintiff, Alice Kilgore. From this judgment the defendants appealed to the district court, where the cause was again tried by jury and a verdict rendered in favor of plaintiff in the sum of forty-five dollars, and ten dollars additional for her attorney’s fee.
