The plaintiff brought action against the defendants for the breach of a written contract by which defendants agreed to purchase of plaintiff 100 bales of cotton on a basis of 12% cents per pound. Defendants answer by general denial, and further allege fraud on part of plaintiff, in procuring the written contract, and ask to avoid same because of such fraud. Trial was had by jury, resulting in a verdict for the plaintiff for the sum of $140. Defendants file motion for a new trial in due time; same…
