This is an appeal from a judgment in favor of defendant, and from an order denying plaintiff’s motion for a new trial, in an action brought by plaintiff to quiet his alleged title to a lot of land in the city of Los Angeles, being lot 3 in block A, of the “Main Street Tract,” in said city. The answer denied plaintiff’s claim of ownership and also denied that defendant’s claim to said property is without right. The trial court found that plaintiff was not the owner of said property.
