Cecil F. Taylor and wife are the owners of a very substantial equity in property at the northeast corner of Livernois avenue and Six Mile road in the city of Detroit. They purchased it on contract from Henry Diehr, the owner of the fee, in July, 1924, when the property had a frontage of 62 feet on Six Mile road and 100 feet on Livernois avenue. Condemnation proceedings were begun by the city of Detroit on February 28, 1927, for the purpose of widening Livernois avenue.
