The plaintiff is a corporation engaged in the business of selling and delivering ice in the city of Pasadena and neighboring communities. The defendants are all former employees of the plaintiff. The defendant Reeder entered plaintiff's employ in 1910 and continued therein until the fall of 1925. He worked for plaintiff in a number of different capacities during said time, but "in the office end of it." At the time he quit said employment he was assistant manager of the plaintiff company.
