For over twenty years Mrs. Parker permitted her real estate in Bridgeport to stand of record in her husband’s name; mortgages thereon to be assumed by him, or made as part of the purchase price; and conveyances thereof to be made, and mortgages to be placed thereon, by him. As to all the world the public land records proclaimed him the owner.
