MEMORANDUM DECISION
NICHOL, Chief Judge.
This is a diversity suit, tried to the Court sitting without a jury, brought by Mrs. Irene M. Yarrow against Sterling Drug, Inc., a drug manufacturer, for permanent injuries to her eyes, alleged to have been caused by Sterling’s failure to warn her doctor of the side effects of the drug ehloroquine phosphate. The drug in question is sold by Sterling under the trade name Aralen, and the injury to the plaintiff (hereinafter Mrs. Yarrow) is known as ehloroquine retinopathy, a degeneration of cells in the retina of the eye, causing blindness.
