Plaintiff and respondent brought this action to recover $337.32 from defendant and appellant on two counts, one based on money had and received, and the other based on a liability for prior endorsement of a check. The material allegations of the complaint were denied. The case went to trial on these issues with no affirmative defenses al leged.
