This court held in the case of City of Sioux Falls v. Peterson, 71 S. D. 446, 25 N. W.2d 556, that it is within the power of a municipality to require by ordinance that one involved in a motor vehicle accident resulting in injury or death to any person or property damage shall immediately stop and give his name, address, etc. The question presented in this case is whether it is within the power of a municipality to by ordinance prohibit one convicted of drunken driving from driving on the streets of the city for one year.
